Surface set diamond drill bits are different from impregnated drill bits. They are mainly used in relatively soft and abrasive loose formations, and they are also used in drilling harder formations where the available rotational speeds and bit loads are insufficient to use impregnated diamond bits due to drilling equipment limitations.The cutting surface can reasonably place each hard diamond on the surface set drill bit according to the different formations to ensure that the most reasonable diamond consumption can get the best drilling efficiency.
